Their first five albums are filled with great classic songs.
  • Why not just listen to an actual buzzsaw?

Quick, after listening to the first 2 seconds of each song how many can you distinguish from each other? Same chord progressions over and over and over. I get it, this is what punk is all about, but couldn't they throw a little variety in here? "California Sun" (definitely like Johnny's surf guitar, after all he is truly a rhythm guitarist) is the best this album has to offer and their cover of "Needles and Pins" is the best the Ramones have to offer.
  • This has almost nothing to do with the album, but I would just like to point out...

Track 18, Blitzkrieg Bop (Live At The Roxy) Isn't even a live performance. Doesn't really matter much to me, but you might want to look into that itunes. But other than that, the only thing left I have to say is that this album is like Gold to me. Almost every song I knew and listened to with my Dad in the car as a kid and each one holds precious memories. So with that, and the fact that the music is great and fun to listen to, I recommend this album to anyone who is into 70s punk and 70s pop punk. LONG LIVE THE RAMONES! r.i.p Joey, Johnny, & Dee Dee

the ramones are one of, if not the, greatest bands ever, and certanly the best punk band. I wasn't born when Rocket to Russia came out, but I do know that the Ramones never had a top 50 hit. So, and I know that over in england their doing the same thing with the sex pistols, try to get Blitzkreig Bop, or any hit, to Number 1 by June 1st, 2011

Probably my favorite ramones album but itunes changed "carbona not glue" to "carbonara not glue". I mean wtf? Carbonara is a pasta sauce!! It doesnt even make any sense
  • Leave Home... not without this record!

This is probably my favorite Ramones album - which is saying a lot! Honestly, if you don't like this album, you probably don't have a soul.
  • Great follow-up to a great debut album.

The greatest punk band of all time (in my opinion) delivered another classic album with Leave Home. California Sun is perhaps the most famous song on the album, although it was not written by the Ramones. Suzy is a Headbanger is another classic Ramones song, as is Pinhead, one of my personal favorites. It's almost impossible not to nod your head when Johnny Ramone breaks into that classic riff near the end of the song and is joined by Joey Ramone's chants of "Gabba Gabba Hey!".
  • Totally awesome!!!
