Wow super retro funk

Classic sounds like Hammond B and Steve Cropper "money licks". Add nicely to my booker T but has more funk like meters, etc. w/some lounge grove and jazz vibe. All songs crank. Buy now!

Always searching for grooving funk albums and it's rare to find one that never stops. These guys find it quickly and hold onto to it for dear life. Must buy if you're into this kind of stuff.

drawing comparisons to the meters and medeski, this doesn't get nearly enough credit in the modern funk and jazz community. buy, now.

I just heard these guys for the first time and I must say this is some of the best downright dirty funk music Ive ever heard. Track after track of pure grooves that'll keep you movin all night. From the first note played, these guys absolutely represent. Do yourself some justice and pick this up cause its hot!

A great work that trasports the listener into the 70's. The classic sounds of the Hammond come through in subline elegance.

The New Mastersounds are a UK outfit who are channeling a righteous groove. Heard them first on Craig Charles' Funk Show on the BBC and thought wow these lads are funky. Heard them play a live gig on the BBC and was convinced they got it goin on. If you like The Meters or Galatic you're going to really appreciate this album. Land of Nod, Baby Bouncer and Vandenburg Suite are some of my favourite tracks, but the whole album is a funkin solid effort.
