The sounds are very nice - deeper than most rain albums I have herd. The problem is that someone got a little too creative and artsy with it and messed around with the left / right balance. A lot. Does not seem natrual to my ears and was far more distracting than enjoyable. Since I can't use it to sleep by because of this, it is sometime used in the office to wash away background distractions. Other than that, I regret this purchase.

I began purchasing this since my son took my white noise machine. It was initially a substitute; but, it became a nightly rememdy. I sleep soundly because of it and have been even using it at work to drown out the normal noise. Highly recommend!

It didn't help me. I have terrible ear/head noise, plus am a light sleep. LOL. Tried the CD two ways, on my ipod with earpieces and with speakers. If it is soft, it is hard to hear the rain. The quality of the preview, however is a good example of what you will get.

i bought this because of the reviews. i think the author wrote them.
back in the day before cable, a tv station would sign off and then you'd get static. that's what this reminds me of; i found it annoyingly repetitive. i just wanted to through something at the player
listen to the sample, and multiply it for an entire hour. that's it!
much better relaxation tapes out there! i can't believe i spent $10 on this! can we get refunds?

I downloaded this album because my daughter's white noise machine broke. I needed another alternative to purchasing a new one for considerably more than the cost of the download! I play this album (which sounds like gentle white noise with a soft rain background) on repeat mode and she sleeps with no interruption! Love it!

I love this album. I let my young daughter listen to this as she goes to sleep. She is asleep in under 10 minutes. The sound of the rain is very soothing and relaxing. Do not listen to this album unless you are ready to sleep.

Puts me to sleep quickly. I sleep in the day and after I put this on I am out easily within 10-15 minutes. Its nothing to dance to but it is good for getting some zzzzz's.

I've suffered from insomnia for years so after reading the reviews, I thought I would take a chance and try this album. It works!! I'm asleep 20 min into it...thats amazing for me. My only complaint is that its only a little over an hour of play time, so I'm not into the deep rem sleep...therefore wake up once it finishes. I've had to loop this on a playlist to fix that. Highly recommend if you have a hard time getting to sleep.
