The songs are unpredictable and adventureous. Maybe the most adventureous EUROPE has ever been. With repeat listening, this album has gone from good to great. If you're stuck in the 80's and haven't liked the modern EUROPE, this will do nothing to change you. If you've liked their modern progression since their reunion, you'll probably like it. A modern record with a definite classic rock vibe. Traces of Deep Purple, Rainbow, Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and early Whitesnake influences all over, brought into the 21st Century. Continues where "War of Kings" left off. In addition to the majestic title track, you've got some seriously heavy rockers like "The Siege", "Kingdom United", "Election Day", "GTO" and "Haze". Makes me wish Joey Tempest and Co. were 20 years younger. Should be awesome live. One ballad, "Pictures", a beautiful song with a Pink Floyd influence, I think. Play loud and proud!

Sounds like a good song and hopefully a solid album. But I agree with other review; what happened to War of Kings album???! I bought it. I paid for it. And now it is no longer in my library and it is not even in the iTunes' catalog?!? I want my $10 back. Or at least an answer.
