Thank you Kevin for recording and sharing a song, which I am sure you held very close & sincere to your heart for a long time. It was classful of Jay to have you perform on "The Show" (5/28/2010), though I am not a huge Leno fan anymore but I watch the show because of you. Most people do not know your history in the music world or just how truly talented you really are. Born on 11/15/57 in Philly, PA, Kevin was born into a musical family. His Mom is a gospel & classical pianist/organist. His uncle is a jazz pianist. His older brother plays the trombone & his younger brother plays the trumpet. Kevin played the violin & trumpet before deciding on the guitar. He went to the Berklee College of Music (Boston). I feel he is one of the most under-exposed guitar players in the world. I know that Jay really has a deep appreciation for Kevin, but after 18 years on The Tonight Show, (he replaced Branford Marsalis) I think that Kevin made the right choice to leave so he could focus on HIS career as a priority. Keep up the amazing music Kevin & the best of luck to you, your band, & your family.
