"Shut the f**k up, I am talking" - The lead singer said that to the loudest most annoying drunk chick at the show. It was so funny! Great band, it was fun watching the mixer guy get down to his own music.

I've only purchased "I Can Feel a Hot One" currently, but I'm definitely gonna listen to more soon. This song is really touching and beautiful. Anyways, I heard it first on Gossip Girl, and I had to have it. Unfortunately, it wasn't up on iTunes yet or any other purchase-download websites, so I downloaded it (free) from the internet. Well, now that it's available for purchase, I just deleted my old file and purchased it here on iTunes. I really hate finding great music that isn't available to buy, because I don't WANT to get it for free - it's worth the $0.99 that I pay. So, I'm glad this is up now, so that I can feel less guilty when I listen to this amazing song :]

Both new songs (I Can Feel a Hot One & I Was a Lid) are incredible. It's nice to hear different versions of the previously recorded ones as well. If you like these, check out Andy Hull's daytrotter sessions (where Badges and Badges came from), you won't be disappointed.
  • Not what I was expecting, but great nonethless!

I was sort of expecting a new full length album, but I'll take what I can get from Manchester. " I Can Feel a Hot One" is an absolutlely brilliant rock anthem. "I Was a Lid" is the weirdest title to one of the best hard rock songs in recent memory. Cap it off with three live tracks, two previously released, and you've got one hell of an EP. Worth way more than the five bucks they're asking!
  • The best of all time.

This band is so good it makes you want to keep them a secret for a just a little while longer so you can impress your friends with your impressive taste in music. But I guess I'll tell the secret now, Manchester Orchestra is probably the best band you'll ever hear. Andy Hull and his gang never cease to amaze me. I Can Feel A Hot one was featured on Gossip Girl and will indubitably become a staple in a lot of kids' music collections, but I've never heard a Manchester song (or Right Away! Great Captain, Andy's side project) that I haven't falled deeply in love with or been shaken to the core by. Badges and Badges was originally written for Andy's side project, but this live version is good too. Sleeper 1972 will haunt you for the rest of your days, and at the same time teach you a lesson in the sublime. Download the recorded version, not the live one if you have to pick between the two. Wolves at Night has the lyrics that berths the title of their first record, "I'm like a virgin losing a child" and this version and the more intense recorded version are both golden. I Was A Lid's title reminded me of the side project song I Was A Cage in moniker only, because the two are very different and very good. Overall, this album deserves six stars, but I guess I'll have to settle for the five.
  • Their best work yet

I Can Feel a Hot One is good...but I Was a Lid could be their best work yet. Andy Hull's genius lyrics with guitars that blast you out of your skin. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

I have never heard an indie band as good as Manchester Orchestra. I had the pleasure to see them at Mac's Bar in E.Lansing, MI and it was one of the best performances I've ever seen in my life. After their debut "I'm like a Virgin Losing a Child" this EP does not disapoint. How ever, I suggest you buy it some place else than iTunes if you're a true fan. If you do, not only will you be supporting local indie retailers, but you'll get an amazing documentary as well. The DVD really does complete the album. Once again *****
