    ... this one is just straight garbage. I really wanted to like it. It just never should have been. No talent over produced soundtrack. Over produced unimaginative remake. Better luck next time FOX. Nope.

    If you are expecting a remake, this isn't it. If you are looking for a fun time poking fun at the cast and the tropes of Rocky Horror through its 40 year history, than you might enjoy. After all, It's not easy having a good time. The cast are cardboard cutouts of the characters who are just having fun with the roles. The singing isn't live and is GLEE-I-FIED, only for a more 80's rock and roll sounds in comparsion to the original 50's rock feeling. The only role that was expanded was the Usherette at the beginning, which is definitely one of the best parts of this special. Think of this as a Broadway Revival, there are revivals better than others (like Pippin), then there are bland revivals that don't do anything new (Bye Bye Birdie 2009). They remade the movie almost shot-by-shot/line-by-line, so you know there was effort put into certain aspects. "Science Fiction/Double Feature" is my favorite song from this album, and Ivy Levan SLAYS in her walk-on role.
