I used to listen to this album constantly back in the eighties. It’s my favorite Sheila E. album - especially Wednesday Like A River, Koo Koo and Boy’s Club. One thing about Sheila E, if you listen closely you realize that she has a beautiful voice and a good range. In addition to the fact that she’s an amazing percussionist.

This album may have had less commercial fanfare, however the foot work put in to make these songs fit very well together and is a strong collection. Koo Koo, Pride, Boy's Club, Love On A Blue Train and even Wednesday are hot and are very cathcy.

Half and Half

Half of these songs are really good. the other half not so much. Tracks 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 are very nice and Im pretty sure Prince contributed in all of not most of these. They have that MPLS sound. I’m glad iTunes finally made this album available.
