Wow, Sheila E is a living legend. I can’t wait to meet her on the 80’s Cruise 2018. I’m bringing her roses!

Bought the ICON album about a week ago and have to honestly say this is in my playlist in heavy rotation all the time since then. Sheila E hasn't gone anywhere y'all. She proves she still has the chops and can be the Leader of the Band just like the song says. This cd is full of heavy latin sounds, funk, some nice ballads and something for everyone to enjoy no matter what your taste is. You'll have your hands up for Fiesta, salsa dancing to the 1st single Mona Lisa, and bobbing your head to Nasty Thangs just to name a few of the tracks. Go ahead, I double dog dare you to not find yourself grooving to these jams. Enjoy it like I did and appreciate Sheila and her fellow musicians for what they bring to us for our earhole pleasure. :) Thanks Sheila E.

The beautiful and talented Miss Escovedo has returned with an album that is very impressive! I can only imagine all the remixes on the way from DJ's/Producers that will cover every genre. Expect to hear a version of Miss Sheila at a summer festival near you! Welcome Back Sheila!!!
  • Did not want the album to end!

I usually buy singles only. Loved “Mona Lisa”- but when I previewed “Icon”, I had to buy the whole project! From start to finish, “Icon” takes you on a musical journey - tastefully mixing music styles and crossing genres and that’s not easy to pull off! Sheila E’s “Icon” is a very relevant piece of art you’ll definitely want to get….

This CD is FIRE from start to finish. You MUST see this CD performed LIVE! So many great tracks that stand out. The salsa jam "Mona Lisa" which also has a FIRE video is one of my favorites. And the timbales bangin' "Fiesta" featuring B. Slade - just WOW!

I have been a fan of the beautifully talented Ms. Escovedo since 1984 and to be listening to her new album in 2014 is amazing in itself because not many survive so long in the industry especially if they are still putting out quality music the likes of which Sheila E is known for. Great album overall Fiesta keeps me dancing but i have to say that I'll Give You That is my favorite song on the cd
