Happy Place

By far the most underrated album in the PIL catalogue. Don’t know why Seattle wasn’t a more successful single. Brilliant lyrics and awesome guitar riff. Hard Times rocks as hard as anything on Album. Open and Revolving a little gem of spite wrapped in a layer of guitars and bass. Solid album from beginning to end. A major achievement. Too bad the record label barely promoted it at the time.

This album is unlike any other album, PIL or otherwise. Close your eyes and let them take you into a weird side of a lost era.
Happy? With this album, yes I am.

Not as energized as 'Album', but 'Happy?' is an excellent piece of work. The best tracks are 'Seattle', 'Save me' 'Hard Times' and 'Fat Chance Hotel'. There is an extra 4 minutes on the last track, "FCH"--don't be deceived by the time indicated: the song is just about 4 min. the rest is filler. I recommend this album and I hope iTunes will include the albums, "9", and 'That What is Not" soon. They are excellent albums (especially TWIN) and they exemplify the evolution of the band.
