  • Game Changer

This was basically the first post-punk album. Just listen to the guitar part on the title track. It would become the template for guitarists of the early 80s (Johnny Marr, Edge, etc.). If you are a religious person, you probably won't like this. Also, if you have no patience for a bit of atonality, this is not for you. Otherwise, give it a listen. It was a game changer.

If anyone wants to know why i loved the once popular radio station in Long Island New York WLIR, just listen to this album. It takes me back to a time when radio had a wide variety of musical tastes. Thanks PIL.
  • The perfect post-punk record. Enough said.

Originally released in December, 1978, PiL's First Issue had not been released here in the U.S. because the American label thought it wasn't good sounding by "commercial standards". 35 years later, it is finally out...and does it make my day to finally hear these essential moments in one of the best Post-punk records of all time. Rock on, Pil.
