I just saw kevin devine last night at Cains Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma and his performance was amazing! There performance was one that I won't forget and that one should experience for themself. Not only that but I also got to meet him because he was working his own merch table which was the coolest thing you can see an artist do. We got to talk he signed my vinyl record for "SHE STARYED AS STEAM" along with my ticket! I haven't met an artist as nice as he was ever definetly can't wait to meet him again and watch him perfrom!

Kevin is one of my favorite musicians, and this EP does not disappoint. "She Stayed As Steam" is one of his best songs to date, and I can't help but give him a 5-star review for it. He's great. Buying this album will be something you won't regret.

The single, "She Stayed as Steam," is beautiful, with a peaceful start that begins to pick up half way through. The EP, over all, is a must have for any Kevin Devine fan, or simply anyone who enjoys good quality, honest music that contains a good message behind it. Also, it includes a very different, yet good, version of "Another Bag of Bones." Check it out!

Kevin Devine is absolutely brilliant, and this solid collection of odds and ends shows that. The two live tracks are exquisite, both incredibly emotional and beautiful. The title track is so unbelievably beautiful it honestly gives me chills. I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin a few weeks ago and he is an amazingly humbled and friendly person. I truly look up to him as an aspiring writer myself for his eloquence and honesty. This is an amazing ep. Buy it, or better yet, buy the vinyl.
Oh, and the remixes are first rate as well. Incredibly catchy and well done. Bravo.

as a avid follower of Kevin since Circle Gets the Square, this is some of his best work yet to date. the two new tracks are good enough if not better than the tracks of Brothers Blood. The two re-mixes on this EP are great and have that sound you're so familiar with on I could be with anyone on Brothers Blood. If you thinking about buying this, do it. just buy the Vinyl (comes with digital download, and 2 bonus songs Chelsea Hotel and a live recording of Ballgame) Enjoy.

Kevin Devine keeps up his string of strong release after strong release with She Stayed as Steam.
From the redone version of the track that appeared as an acoustic MySpace demo to the reworkings of two Brother's Blood tracks, this EP, like each of his previous, is great from start to finish. If you have the cash handy, pay a bit extra and grab the bundle with the vinyl and T-shirt, you'll be doing yourself a favor.
