  • One of the Best

It's a shame this album isn't remembered for what it is... one of the greatest live albums ever made. This is one of the albums that I have owned in one form or another since the day it came out. I've had it on reel to reel, 8track, cassette, vinyl, cd and digital. Coming out the same year as Peter Frampton's 'Frampton Comes Alive', this album got lost over the years but it's an album everyone should hear at least once.

Best version of Take it to limit. Harmonies were great. One of the best shows I've seen.

This album should be part of everyone's top 100 albums of the rock era. The depth, diversity and complexity of the music and lyrics are masterful. Was great in '76 and still great today.

A glorious replacement for my worn out vinyl! Dave's at his best here, with a tremendous band behind him. Check out Mike Finnigan on keys.

This captures the concert energy and Dave Mason at his best. I don't think anyone could not be impressed by the tightness of the band members on this tour. It was a concert I'll never forget. A definite must have if you're a Mason fan.

I have been searching for this album for years after owning it so many years ago.... It is arguably Dave's best album- listen to Gerald Johnson's funky bass solo on "Gimme some Lovin"( really funky) You NEED this album- a well balanced offering of balllads( with great vocals and harmonies) and rockers. Great personnel in the band!!

A great collection of live music from Dave Mason at his best. I had this album way back when and it still sounds great.

It's been a while coming to iTunes but was worth the wait. For Dave Mason concert fans this album captures the best of the best. The guitar work is some of Dave's finest and his band sounds crisp and tight. The standards like Feelin' Alright and Sad and Deep as You come through with soul-felt honesty. All Along the Watchtower rocks like Bob Dylan never imagined but I hope he approves. There's not a dog in there - the entire album deserves to be part of any true 60's and 70's rocker's library.
