Peter hit the nail on the head with this song! It's GREAT. "Lay Your Body Down (Goodbye Philadelphia)" is perfectly written, both lyrically and musically; in my opinion. Definitely Hot and Noteworthy!! I just put this song on my iPod and cannot stop listening to it. I've only heard a preview of whats on the album, but I can't wait until its released on January 26th- I'm so excited!!! I definitely encourage you to download this one in the meantime!!

Kind of a wierd type of song to be considered pop. It could use a better beat, maybe more of a faster beat. It is okay but i still don't think it's the best new song out there. I want this Peter guy to write more pop songs, but you know, a little faster.

I've had this song on my ipod for a long time already and I LOVE IT! I never get tired of it. I've listened to snippets of the rest of the album that's coming out on Jan 27th and read the descriptions of some of the songs. I can't wait to hear the rest. The songs don't sound like anything else out there right now. It's piano-singer-songwriter style with hints of rock, pop, jazz. A whole mixture. I think Peter Cincotti is hugely talented. He's playing in NY -- I'm going to try to get tix.
