  • The Fantastic Mishras Sitar Masters

    These father and son sitar masters are the real deal. 'Pt' Shivnath Mishra and his son Deobrat Mishra are 11th generation masters from Benares, India on the Ganges. They tour the west coast every summer and people absolutely love their music. Every year they get better and better. RAGA CYCLE is a great album that features their sitar collaborations along with Dean Evenson's spiritual flute music and the vocal harmonies of two gifted singers. It is not as fast as some sitar music so it can work for massage and healing and of course is great for yoga! Highly recommended.

    I saw these guys live and they are very talented with the sitar and tabla. You should buy this album if you like classical indian music.
