Well, this was my second Getz album I ever listened to, the first being "Focus". I must say, this paints a completely different picture of his playing, it is much lighter listening but great fun to listen to. He reminds me of Sonny Rollins in this album, but has his own unique approach. This album is very fun for me and pretty much anyone can get behind this one. If you want an album to slowly ween you into the world of Getz or find some good samba jazz, this would be one of my top choices!

What an album. I bought this album on vinyl and lost it in the transition to Discs. I am so happy I have found it again. One of the top ten jazz albums. Great sound played with great soul.

I first heard this album traveling from New York to Seoul, Korea in 2006 and was amazed at the song selections and quality of this group. I recognized Chick and Stanley from Return to Forever, but had no idea before now that Tony Williams and Airto did the session too. The is a fusion masterpiece at the origin of fusion. I'm grateful to have even found the album again and searched through his whole catolog just to see if I could find it. This is a great buy for anyone and you'll love everything about this music. These are the real masters at play.
