The picture would explain why Nugent sounds the way he does. I can't believe I liked this crap...when I was 14!

Ted Nugent is god on Earth and the reviewer for iTunes who said he cant write songs is dumb, who else can write a song like Wang Dang Sweet Poon Tang?

My older brother gave me this record back in the early 80's. WOW!!! I had forgotten how badass Mr. Nugent is! Save for maybe Spit It Out (Which is an okay song anyway...) this is a perfect brash, in your face, beast of a record! Buy it and enjoy!

My dad has a guitar pick used by the Nuge that he caught after he threw it into the crowd a long time ago. I saw the pick and I asked, "Dad, who's Ted Nugent?" (keep in mind I was very young) He replied with, "He's a madman with a guitar in his hand," and he gave me his first solo record (obviously named after himself, "Ted Nugent.") and I became forever obsessed and I want to see one of his concerts once he comes 'round this town.
I also have his "Gonzo Guitar Instructional Video" from 1995. I watched it and I was like, "How the hell is this supposed to help me play the guitar better?" I didn't learn a thing from it and it was more of a "See what I can do" video. It was hilarious when he shot a keyboard and it's baby... he is America's funniest white guy, after all! Here's what it says on the back of the video:
"Here's a greasy wad, captured on video, of the real McCoy, kids. Me and the Gibson Byrdland were attached at birth. I didn't have an umbilical cord -- it was a shielded cable. Right around the time that Chuck Berry turned up and spawned R&B, and Les Paul was creating the tool, I was busy inventing attitude skirts, the middle finger and sonic bombast twangdom far beyond your mother's worst nightmare. Think of me as a stain that won't go away. And it's all here on a legal product. Buy two. Give one to your country/western frends along with a bib. Finally you can see the smile through the brown spittle! A workin' hard, playin' hard all-American s***kicker rock& roll guitar salute to one & all."
