Nowhere Generation II - EP

Good addition to the latest album and should've made the original cut.

Not a huge fan of The Answer and Last Man Standing, but the other three tracks are some of their better songs in recent memory. Their last three albums weren’t my favorites, but this EP is somewhat promising.

Best stuff they have put out in years

I have 44 songs from Rise Against, most are good some not so much, but this album has it where every song is great, there past albums have had 3 or 4 songs that are not good, this album gives you hint that they need to sharpen their craft and make more songs like these.

I unfortunately can’t say I was the biggest fan of Nowhere Generation. It had great songs but nothing stood out to me like older albums have. This on the other hand, just wow! IMO not only are all the songs on this EP great but felt like a love letter to previous work. Answer reminded me of SSotCC, Last Man Standing sounded like it was from Appeal to Reason, This Time it’s Personal stood on its own which is great, Pain Mgmt screamed End Game to me, and last but not least Holding Patterns resonated TSatW. That being said you can hear the development in their sound. Familiar leads and new ideas, sick thick bass lines, and tempo changes that make you want to rock out. Love it! Keep just being you guys though! Also, ignore the toxic people with no constructive criticism that hide behind snide remarks.
