It’s Social D, so it’s awesome. I am really hoping that they release some mew material in 2021. With that said, I’m just trying to wrap my head around the review that called the music “tremendous”, and one of their favorite albums of all time, but gave it 4 stars because the device they were using to listen to it on didn’t work. What? How is that related to the content of the album in any way? That has to be one of the most incredibly asinine things that I have ever had the displeasure to read.

Amazing writing and playing. Just beautiful construction of songs. Simple, singable, tunes that will leave you with a smile on your face. Best to listen to on the highway, windows down, turned up loudly and unabashedly enjoyed. My personal favorite album by this great band.

After the death of his lifelong friend/guitarist Dennis Danell, Ness manages to pull together an album that defies all expectations. Instead of a somber dirge of loss and grief the album instead became a rousing statement of faith and growth. It opens up perfectly with "Reach for the Sky", a song that has appropriately found itself often being the opening song of their concerts as well, and ends with "Angel's Wings" - one of the most mature and uplifting songs Ness has ever penned. This album doesnt let up. Like a good friend, it is there for you start to finish and ready to pick you up. Hands down my favorite Social Distortion relase.

Tremendous song writing. Best played at high volume. Would’ve gave it 5 stars, but the device doesn’t work. One of my favorite albums ever!!
