She and Gus Dapperton should collab, they remind me of each other. Especially with the synth in the background, those “blip” noises.

Saw her as an opening band at a concert not knowing who she was and fell in love with her music! Know can’t stop listening! All her songs are great! Can’t wait for her next album!!

Really enjoying this album and essentially every song on it. I sampled Ms.Rose’s albums and other released songs but this album is by far the only one that appeals to me personally. She seems to have a diverse sound and talent; So if this is the direction her music is going I’m all in and on board. Love it
  • Who is this? She’s Caroline Rose.

Google’s AI analyzed my musical taste and recommended I watch ‘Bikini.’ So I YouTubed ‘Caroline Rose’ and I became a fan. An artificial intelligence used an algorithm to determine the high probability that I’d enjoy the notes, lyrics and melody performed by Caroline Rose rendered in .mp3 format. I no longer have free will.

Ms. Rose was a pretty competent folkie/Americana/singer songwriter/blah blah blah before she released this album. If you were familiar with her work, and then heard this without knowing who the artist was, you'd probably fall on the floor if you were told it was the same artist. I like the Rose on this album better. No knock on her previous work, but what she was doing before was like the Kansas beginning in the Wizard of Oz, and Loner is when the house drops out of the sky, and Dorothy opens the door to Munchkinland. Three songs here-- "Soul No. 5," "Money," and "Bikini"-- are well worth purchasing the entire album for...but, the rest of it is terrific, as well. Rose is one of my new favorite artists, and I look forward to hearing what she comes up with next.
