Like a good date, this album starts off with a good up-beat hello. I’ve had this song come on (by shuffle) on a Monday morning during my rush hour drive to work and within 30 seconds I was singing along—you know, the shameless kind where you don’t care who sees you! I adore this album. It is one of those albums that probably wouldn’t be something a big record studio would choose to put out because it’s a little different. It’s kinda like Regina Spektor.
Listen to “let’s fake a honeymoon.” Playful, seductive, a little naughty but still polite and not pushy.
The album is delightful and smart.
