Their best album in my opinion, my favorite song by them (so far) is Bad Guy. This band is incredible though.

I truly love set it off and with all the people saying going to punk to pop isn’t really right well they are just developing to became better singers and maybe try something new my favorite songs from here that I recommend for you to here is uncontainable, want and hypnotize those 3 I can listen for them for hours. Set it off is a really good band also and it needs more attention.
  • Pretty good but I understand why many miss cinematics

I really loved songs like hypnotized and uncontainable but I like many fans miss the heavy drums and guitar of cinematics. I love how they doing something new and moving forward but personally I don’t love the new poppy vibe I’m getting. I hope that they’ll find a good balance between this album and cinematics.
  • The new feeling is great!

A lot of fans are upset about SIO diverging from their punk roots and changing into poppier sounding music, but this isn't a bad thing. In fact, their newer songs are amazing! Even as someone who loved the old albums, I still absolutely love the new tone. It shows how they've changed as a band and how much they've grown since Cinematics and Duality. I don't normally enjoy poppier music, but all of these songs are still incredible. Tug of War and Hypnotized are my favorites <3

They went from punk in cinematics then a little pop in duality which was pretty okay but now they went completely pop I really really love this band it's my favorite...but pop doesn't really suit them especially The lead singer too be honest the only song that I actually liked was hypnotize
  • Exactly what I was dreading

Okay so I do like the songs and I enjoy listening to them. But what makes Set it Off so great is that they're different. I love Cinematics so much because it was different and made them above average. And now it kind of seems like they're selling out to pop. They're starting to lose what made them different. I still love their music and they're still really catchy but I wish they would go back to their old style of music. They do make this style work for them but what I was fearing is them selling out. And it's coming true...
  • It's a Grower, but Still Great!!!

I was a bit skeptical going into this based off the lead singles, and it did take a few spins to really sink my teeth into it. While this is not my favorite album from them, it is far from a bad album. I do wish there was more prevalent guitar work vs layered beats, but, it's still SIO, and I still love them. They've come a long way since their Horrible Kids and Cinematics days. But they're growing as people and artists. I can't fault them for that. Lyrically, this is still the same great stuff they've been doing for years now. Love, relationships, growing up, etc... Musically, this is pop-rock which favors the pop more. Some songs have morw of a rock element, some more of an R&B, but mostly it's pop. Vocally, Cody sounds just as great as ever. He's always been awesome. While there are a few songs on here I don't care for as much in terms of replay value, my favorites include: "Uncontainable", "Never Know", "Crutch", and "Me w/o Us". If you like this band, support them and buy this album. It will take a while to grow on you, but it's worth the purchase. Can't wait to see what they do next.

For those of u that hate pop, u probably hated a few songs and now strongly dislike the genre all together. Personally for me it's not about the genre it's about the song. And maybe Set It Off didn't want to make the same genre for a long time . U get bored eventually.
