Khaos

This album is fantastic. The blending of acoustic and electronic/processed elements is amazing, and a very rare thing to find at this level. Couple that with the emotional content of the music and this is a real gem.

A sublime score from a world-class composer, “Khaos” is equal parts challenging and seductive. This piece pushes boundaries into deep sonic and tonal territories, greatly expanding the range in Jeremy Zuckerman’s already varied and sophisticated body of work, which includes scores for The Legend of Korra, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Scream: The TV Series, and The Echo Society series of concerts. The opening and closing tracks are soaring bookends to a varied musical journey, with “History of Two” and “Obsolescing” as towering pinnacles in the middle. The production and mixing are superb, deftly showcasing the high quality of the music.
