Great Video goes well with the pace of the song. Like a dream you can't wake up from, even though you know it;s a dream. Beautiful...
  • Guitar and art was good, the video though; disturbing

I really liked the the way the band played (not including the singer) and the art was really surreal and whimsical which was interesting. However, what I really detested in this video was the actual content of it. It was pretty disturbing and this is something, in my opinion, that should be taken with great caution. I didn't really see how the troll strumming on the deer's tendons had anything to do with the song anyway.

Socially, the fleet foxes are the pink Floyd of our generation. This is meant to be a dark album. The video is dark and existential. What does it mean? There is no meaning. It just is. Enjoy it.

This is a brilliant, BRILLIANT video. This is one of those music videos where you can NOT remove the video from the song; the visual and the sound mesh with each other perfectly. My favorite video besides "Yonkers" by Tyler, the Creator. Wow, those videos could not be more different. Anyway, to the point - you're a fool if you're buying this after the week that it was free. Go to the Sub Pop podcast, it has exactly the same video, and you can save your $1.49.

The music is otherworldly and wonderful. I will definitely buy more Fleet Foxes music in the future. The video. Well, what can I say? I love modern art and I think it is art but it's needlessly grotesque and disturbing. It smacks of "trying too hard because it's art."

I think I'm going to be sick. This is so depressing and what does that have anything to do with the song? It is just plain creepy and it takes a lot to for me to think that. I could not shake that image out of my head. This is NOT staying on my ipod.
  • Good song for 3/4ths
