But I have seen it and watched the process from the great Miss Heap. I have to say I was worried about what most people would think when she first proposed the idea on her ustream blog. However, many people got the idea that her being naked was for artistic and conceptual reasons only. Like she said, the video isn't going on MTV. For anyone who hasn't seen the blog, the concept is that when you are at that point in your life when you are in a situation where it's life or death, it doesn't matter what you're wearing or what you have, because all that you have is your body and mind. The fact that Imogen has stripped (if you'd excuse the pun ;) haha) that fact down to the point where we see a human being, whether they are bicycling away from the sludge of a tidal wave, or taking cover from an earthquake. Also, I love how she doesn't sing to camera until a little after halfway through. Her facial expressions with the paint and projections make her (in my mind) look like a tortured soul, possibly even Mother Nature, where she cares about humans, but she has to make a choice between them or her planet, and this video shows her pain and sympathy for the choice she made. Odd and twisted way of looking at it, but I'm what you'd call a Tim-Burton-esque person
