  • Sounds good...just kind of a bummer

I sort of lost interest in this band after Justin left but I was willing to give them a shot. After Greg left though, I realized my two selling points were gone. I loved Justin's vocals and energy and I loved Greg's guitar playing. I encourage them to keep playing with their current lineup but let the old songs be. It's just kind of weird.
  • Waste of time.

This is garbage. It seems slower than the original songs and lacks original the strong vocals that Justin had. There's also too much reverb making these versions all echo too much...If the goal here was to prove how much better Zebrahead was with Justin then mission accomplished.

seriously?! keep the originals original.. i used to love this band until it started going downhill with the new singer, and now reinventing the old songs? crappy move cuz will never sound as good..very disrespectful too

Get the old versions of these songs, the re recorded ones are not good. The classic zebrahead sound was awesome. This new one not so much. Was really bummed when justin left and now the re recording those songs was painful to listen to.

Why ruin the classics. I loved Zebrahead but the bands been in a decline ever sense Justin left. Broadcast to the World was descent and so was Phoenix but Panty Raid, Get Nice, Call All Your Friends and now The Early Years – Revisited: its just one crap record after another. You guys had 5 great albums followed by 2 descent albums and it should of stopped there. The classic Zebrahead sound is gone and this is just sad. To bad i can’t give this zero stars!!!!

I gotta take my hat off to the band, but especially Matty! To come in and re-record another singers songs probably wasn't what he had in mind. I will admit I was hesitant on he would sound, but the guy pulls the songs off!!! Even if he is a Royals fan blah! Jk. "Falls Apart" "Someday" and "Into You" shocked me!! Sound purely amazing!! The band sounds right on point as well!!! Two songs I truly enjoyed over the past 15 years or so were "wasted" (strong message in the song) and "now or never" (and yes I was concerned Matty wouldn't do them justice). Honestly I think they are better than the originals now. Congrats guys!! And "Devil on My Shoulders" is the jam!! BUY THIS!!! Don't go in thinking Matty is going to try to sound like the old singer he brings his own style! And hats off again to him and the band! They could have looked for a fast money grab and released a normal greatest hits, but made really a whole new album!! Cheers guys!! Thank you for 20 years of excellence!!
  • I like the improvements
