Excellent new material from the VFemmes! It’s been 15+ years and the wait is well worth it. All 4 songs on this EP deliver and show the Violent Femmes are timeless. With the excellent addition and positive energy and creative input from Brian Viglione, this EP feels and sounds right on! Gordon says he has written over 100 new songs and this spring they are recording even more new song. I personally cannot wait to some full length releases. I bought the vinyl last month and now have the iTunes digital format. Yes! I do admit I have been a fan since 1985. I say that because I know all their music, solo projects and all. This EP is the real deal. 5 out 5 stars. The music, the lyrics, the tone in Gordon’s voice, the bass by Brian, the drums by Vig, the Horns of Dilemma, just one word, wow! The Violent Femmes are the real deal, they will reconnect with their fans and gain new fans too! This is a must have to anybody who loves music.
