I have been a great fan of Amy Winehouse for quite some time now, and I’d never found anything quite like her until I heard this album featured on NPR. This is without a doubt the best album I have ever heard. From start to finish, every song has an element to it that is distinctively Bailey’s and no one else’s, yet he also has that same power over the song (the meaning behind it, the emotions it evokes, the feelings, everything) that only really impressive artists like Amy could command. This album is absolutely sunning. If you haven’t, do.

Liam Bailey seems to have combined an awesome variety of rhythms, and genres as well, for this album. I feel somewhat stupefied, in regards to my absence of knowledge with his music until now.

His mellow voice quietly overcame the noise of Starbucks , and I had to discover who the artist was. Soulful ballad about love lost, and marvelous vocal qualities have me considering the entire album !

I was at the Middle East restaurant and club in Cambridge, MA for a Paloma Faith show. Liam Bailey went on first. SIMPLY AMAZING. Stunning vocals. Amazing stage presence. I purchased his CD at the show (sorry iTunes ;-) and have not stopped listening. Each successive play gets better and better. Simply amazing.

Just became aware of this artist last week. If you want comparisons they would not do this man justice. He brings so much much soul but he can rock when he wants and he brings so many different forms together that you can't label this release. Just call it beautiful music sung with emotion and passion at a very high level. I am now looking for prior work cuz I need as much of LB as I can get. Do you like music...try this out.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for Liam’s sake. This album is incredible. Every song has that old school sound that just vibes with your soul. Take the risk and give him a chance. I see very bright future in store for him and I believe you will as well.
