I normally don’t write reviews, but this was too good not to! He even made me like a song that I wasn’t too keen on before. There’s such a passion and energy in Fire to the Rain that I felt was sort of lacking in the original. It really moves me. I bought this album basically blind(not familiar with the artist previously), and I am very happy. If you are getting a little tired of Lindsay Stirling, this is for you! I’m a little sad to see it pigeonholed into R&B/Soul, because it has a much broader appeal. I wouldn’t have found this searching by genre which is a shame, because I truly love it. I found it on accident looking for other music. Absolutely beautiful. I’m looking forward to more.

This is one of the most beautiful heartfelt pull at every emotion I have in me album I have ever owned. I close my eyes and feel love, joy, hope, sadness, pain. I feel air and I feel soul and I feel like I can breathe, really breathe. The way Damien plays takes me to places mentally and physically I almost forgot existed. Sounds to put you in any state of mind you wish to travel to. I have taken so many journeys with this CD. A must have for a true music lovers collection. I am smitten, as I write this review I see him playing these songs live and remembered each moment .. each moment, each sound of the strings. So much passion and depth to this mans music. A beautiful story everyone must hear. I can't wait for more! I thank you for sharing your gift.

I would like to hear diced pineapples for the length of the song. While yes I am a fan of hip hop but the violin makes that song sexy without the words. It takes your mind places in silence.
