The only reason i gave it 3 stars and bought one song off it is because the Knight Rider episode Let It Be Me. I found the Song "First Night Together" really catchy. But yeah. Thats the only song i think is worth 99 cents.

What can you say? This is a world class crappy album. But it is David Hasselhoff who is the last one laughing. He has more money than most people who shop on iTunes. In fact, he will probably buy your town soon.

Released in 1969, this album had my dancin' feet 'movin and grovin'! And, it's still a great 'sit-down' listen. Just shimmy in place, and it helps work your 'toush' off!!!

The only 2 songs that David Hassellhoff wrote and sung decently were the Baywatch Theme and Current of Love which is the ending credits theme for baywatch.

Could this music stink any more? The answer is yes, especially if Mr. Hasselhoff puts out any more albums. Don't buy this album, save your ears for things more pleasant like nails on a chalkboard.
  • For a 1980's album, it's not bad...

I bought this when it first came out in the late 1980's and I listened to 100's of times. Yes, I admit I was a big fan of the Hoff lol back then but now he's all cheese but he still is entertaining to watch. Most of the songs on this album are decent and Let It Be Me was a duet with his first wife Catherine Hickland. It's a really sweet song and Do You Love Me is a good effort as well. However, after almost 20 after buying this, I can say that Hasselhoff really doesn't have a colorful voice for singing. He can sing, but he's not a colorful singer. He's more monochrome. Don't know how else to explain it. But for the time period that this was made, it's not bad. The album cover is so silly you just have to laugh. I don't listen to it anymore, but if you ask my teenage self about it, I'd say it was 'da bomb! LOL

I am the Night Rocker. This tour de force is a massive step forward for Hasselfhoff. It is a window into his mind, and dare I say, a glimpse of his heart. Between the bookends of "Night Rocker" and "Let it Be Me" lie the scars of unrequited love, guilt and fame. He mixes the sounds of yesteryear with his edgy lyrics of today. He reaches out to the masses as he sings, "...reaching out each from our separate worlds...." His introspection is difficult to accept at times; it can be painful. WARNING: THIS CD IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. If you have never sat on the couch of a therapist and opened the wounds of a failed relationship or confronted your various demons, this may hurt...but maybe, hurt so good? Hasselhoff guides us through the discovery of love in "Our First Night Together," questions that discovery in "Do You Love Me?" then establishes that this is "No Way to be in Love" and finally claims that someday he'll have "All the Right Moves." David, you already have all the right moves. Bravo! Five Stars!

Is this even serious? I will listen to static before I would buy this. So many good albums out there waiting to be added to ITunes and THIS is what they pick? Oh well. I guess I will have to wait for the Best Of Alf to come out before I feel inspired again.

And I thought Hasselhoff couldn't possible out-cheeze himself. He's done it again! The music is so corny and so awful that you can't help but buy it so you can make fun of it. I love it because it's so awful. Oh Hasselhoff, you surprise me every time.
