From opening line to the last notes of Street, this album delivers. Beautiful vocals and lyrics, great songwriting, and some of the Club's catchiest rhythms ever. And it's so versatile! You could give it a listen when you wanna rock out or fall asleep. Every time you think you know the songs forwards and backwards, you hear something inside it you've never heard before. This is my favorite album of all time. :) Highlights (in my opinion) include Dangerous Man, Unfortunate Thing, the swinging '50s reminiscent Crime Time, The Medal Song, and Love is Love. Great music is waiting for you. :)

This is as solid as a culture club cd as any ever made. The band sounds great here. This is a good guess, but I think this is where they were rushed to put out the last cd of their virgin America contract. I think Jon & George were Over here & the boy was reaching for words here. A little less clever love rhymes & a reach into new areas which the boy still pulls off. They were recently on the view in America & were re-United with a new single which was amazing!!!!

This album was released to bad reviews because it was so different from Colour By Numbers but to be honest it is just as good as Colour By Numbers. The first single The War Song seemed to upset some people which may be why the album didn't do well but to me that is a classic song that still sounds just as great today as it did back in 1984. The album is packed with amazing songs Dangerous Man, Mistake No. 3, The Dive, Don't Talk About It and The Medal Song. Everyone wanted a album that sounded like Colour By Numbers but Bands change with the times and there are some great pop hits on this album and a couple flops but overall it is an excellent album to own if you're a Culture Club or Boy George fan.
