Why would they put the one bad concert they did on here. This is terrible, I want one where Zakk actually rips the song and screams not a soft voice with acoustics ._.

Love Zakk! This, like all other BLS, is awesome. I saw the live show too and this captures it so well. Sounds great and the solos are freaking incredible.

This is my favorite CD by Black label Society. it shows how much talent Zach has when he plays flawlessly live. I'm going to have to buy another CD when I wear this one out.

If this was another form of media, like an album, cassette, heck even a cd, it'd be worn completely out I've played it so much. I love BLS. Zakk shines as always.
  • This dude can sing

I see all the reviews from the young and restless complaining about saving metal. How about just appreciating that this dude is not only one of the best guitarist around but he can also sing like a rock god at times sounding a little like the late great Layne Stanley. Plus he can play piano. At times I used to wonder why Ozzy picked Zakk but after watching his abilities on an acoustic playing these songs I see it now. This is a great capture of an awesome side of the boys
  • Pride and Glory may be but not BLS

If i wanted to hear soft accustic music I would be a fan of John Mayer and Jack Johnson. Even seeing them live when they break out the accustics it's a good time to hit the john and get another drink.

Zakk's music is the soundtrack of my life. The Pride and Glory album and Book of Shadows have remained in constant rotation for going on 20 years...just amazing musicianship. His lyrics have always been simpler than the picking - and I'm OK with that. While I do like BLS and think they are one of the few bands that are still making Rock music that bridges the gap between the 70's and now - the BLS albums have never held my interest as much as the acoustic stuff. This record is perfect in every way. Zakk looks, sounds and has the attitude that Gregg Almann had at this point in his career. There is no doubt that Gregg has influenced him - and that's a good thing. The live concert video of this record is stunning. PLEASE take this show on tour Zakk!
