I bought this CD during my Phish phase after hearing Trey Anastasio mention Del McCoury. I haven't touched my Phish CD's in two years, but I still listen to this album on a weekly basis. Great music, great lyrics. Just as the name implies, it's a high and lonesome sound. There's not a track on this CD I don't like, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be "If You Need a Fool". "Cheek to Cheek With the Blues", "I'll Pretend It's Raining", "Lonesome Wind", and "I Feel the Blues Moving In" are among my other favorites. Buy the album. You won't regret it.
