This incredible songwriter came to my school and gave a concert when I was in the eighth grade in 1991. Even though I was "too old," I thought, for kiddie music, I bought a cassette tape that day and listened and listened and played some for my students when I became an elementary music teacher. They laughed almost as much as I did and still do and I am delighted to see him available on iTunes for sharing with the next generation!

I am in my mid-twenties and just discovered this humorous "children's" music. I haven't laughed so hard in many years. It has been a great help in relieving stress and depression in my life. It reminds me of the joy and of being a child! I miss the goofiness and mishaps of childhood. I love "I sneaked in to the kitchen..." and "My dentist is an awfully nice man..."

there is a reason he has been called "Shel Silverstein, with hair" his music is, delightful to any age group. About subjects children know and adults remember.
