    This is the perfect album to play for the family as well for those who like an adventure in listening. They have taken the standards and updated them for 2012 as only The Polyphonic Spree could. I plan to make this a tradtion in my family. Genius.

  • Not Quite What I was Hoping, But Still Good

    I am as big of a Tripping Daisy/Spree fan as there is and I had high hopes for this album. I have been to at least 5 Spree Christmas shows and was hoping that they would mirror of lot of the live stuff on their album but they went in a different direction for a lot of their songs. It's Christmas… I want peppy upbeat Spree, not experimental Christmas. With that being said there are still some gems on here and well worth the price. I hope that volume 2 is more upbeat and more like what they perform live. Also I think it is time for a Christmas Miracle. Tripping Daisy Reunion 2013!!!!!! It's past time.
