I can't even begin to describe how deep my love for Miracle of Sound is, and if you buy any of his songs, you'll become an addict, too. It is worth it, however, as you are granted hours of the best music ever.

If possible, artist Gavin Dunne has taken his original concept and improved upon it. His original project, taking a slice out of several video game titles and re-interpreting them in song form, has not only been realized; it has been perfected and heightened. "Level 2" contains more instrumental songs than its predecessor per album, but listeners need not worry even if they prefer songs with lyrics; one need only to listen to "Crucible" to have those fears put to rest. All songs have, once again, captured the original majesty of their parental content, adding seamlessly to the preexisting canon of each work.
Dunne, unlike most other artists of the day, puts an almost fanatical amount of care and personality into each song, and his love for this project drips from every second of music he shares with us. We the listeners should be compelled to support this great composer on his journey. A price of $9.99 is a pittance in comparison to the enjoyment and marvels held within each repeated listening of the songs on this album.

Gavin Dunn's second album as Miracle of Sound continues to impress. From the haunting duet offered in "Legends of the Frost" to the humorous rants in "Joker's Song" this album offers something for everyone, even those who are unfamiliar with the subject material. The music videos on The Escapist site are also definitely worth seeing.
