dont ditch the screaming. these guys were adding melodic screaming to there music from the very beginning. its what draws a lot of people into their songs. getting rid of the screaming is like taking away everything they have put into their music.

The Silence is Black and White, it's been down hill from there for these guys...just stop making music unless you're going to go back to that kind of style of music.
  • Hawthorne Heights is back

They are starting to sound like their old selves before they lost Casey. This is definately a step in the right direction for them.New Winter and Niki AM are probably my 2 favorite songs on this EP.

I've loved HH since I first heard Blue Burns Orange from The Silence is Black and White, and even through Calvert's death and everything I have loved the direction they were going. I would have to say that HH is my favorite band of all time, but to be honest, Hate kinda threw me off. I know it's an EP Trilogy and Hope was pretty good, but they probably have a reason for it so I'm looking forward to this next EP

Ok, so here's the deal. Hate was supposed to be a very negative album. This is an EP TRILOGY. It wasn't supposed to be happy. This is Hope, like, a venture into positivity, and I can bet good money, the 3rd one will be back to the "normal" Hawthorne. Hate was a good album. So is Hope. So will the 3rd one. You just have to have faith in these guys, they've always made the best out of things, and this just proves it.
  • This EP will definitely give you HOPE!
