Before I really start, I need to answer the rhetorical question posed by another reviewer simply because when I read it I was simply amazed that someone buying any kind of dance music would ask why there is an extended version. First, it's not the same thing over again, otherwise I could just play it twice and the audience would not know the difference. Second, it's a hell of a lot easier to have longer versions, both for the person playing the music and the dancers: I want to be able to enjoy my night without fretting over song changes every three minutes, and they don't want to be interrupted from their dancing.
As for their work, I must say that I really enjoy the beat. Certainly it's nothing new by any means, but if you can find me an artist in this genre that is truly innovative, I'll gladly check them out. I prefer "This is Acid" over "Slide to the Vibe," but they both create different moods and serve individual purposes. Regardless, Voodoo & Serano do a more than decent job of adding to the world of great club music. If you only want a slight break from the normal mainstream music of any kind or already have a vast collection of music like this, I would suggest only getting "This Is Acid," but if you're in need of an extension to that night mix, both songs do a great job of capturing their respective moods.
