Buckethead will always be my hero, no one has accomplished the emoitonal presentation that this man puts into his music and his technique

This pike really diminishes the significance of Buckethead albums. In the past, each one of the master's albums was... Well a masterpiece. This is way too spontaneous to be considered an epic Bucket album. It doesn't break any new ground, nor does it go anywhere. There's not a lot of content to fill the 30 minute play time. It pretty much consists of 2 regular-sized songs stretched in order to fill the void. It makes me sad - the fact that each song starts out with some quality material, some nice sounding melodies and progressions - to culminate into a seemingly never-ending chord progression of stagnancy. The beginning of the second song is similar to Shadows between the Sky, and not bad at all. It gets good and builds up, but doesn't go anywhere. The soloing and shredding included in the 15 minute progression repeat really get old. Similar things could be said about the first song, but that one has more variation. At the beginning, I'm quite liking these songs, but by the end, I can not even give this album an okay rating. Ultimately it sounds so spontaneous and thrown together. I really can't grasp the point of it. Just Buckethead jamming... But selling it. That's kind of a cheap way of making money, masked with a few minutes of new music. I hope the Bucketman puts some care into his next album.

How can an album have only 2 songs you may ask. How can a song which is essentially a 21 minute guitar solo, be even possible. Only one answer - BUCKETHEAD !! He is truly a master of his craft and is the best guitarist alive today or possibly ever. Imagine if he were playing and recording this music in the 60's in the time of Page, Clapton and Hendrix. What would people have said then? He would have been noted in history as the greatest guitarist of all time. But he is still only recognised by few and his concerts visited by hundreds and not thousands. Why? No answer there. This album is simply a feat of Olympian proportions. An album or remarkable composition and guitar prowess. I feel sorry for the many people who will never hear this masterpiece. Truly a classic for all times but may never be recognised for that.
