There is an immaturity prevalent in some of Goldmunds work that would lead some impatiant listeners to pass by his work without giving it the true creedence that an artist like this deserves. Is Goldmund absolutely the most captivating pianist that you've ever heard? Absolutely not. However, he has the talent for evoking or capturing an emotion with his whispery piano chords that when strung together are very pleasent to listen to. I would say that if you are not a fan of this particular album you probobally wont like many of his other albums but in my mind this album stands as a testament to an interesting musician who caught my attention
