What else can u say, majority of people these days like this crap. Hurts my ears. Cant even understand his lyrics, go start a Bee Gees cover band instead please.

I've loved Passion Pit since seventh grade and no matter what other bands or albums I'm currently into, the Manners album will always be my favorite... I listen to To Kingdom Come whenever I feel stressed and it makes me feel better. The Reeling is my favorite song and simply amazing when it's live. highly recommend

They are artists. They are total geeks too, in a good way. Smart. Well produced. Dynamic as hell. Different from the rest, even though so many LA bands are going in a similar direction. Don't know why Sleepyhead is such a popular song. To me it's the worst on the album. Swimming in the Flood is above an beyond all on my humble opinion. Brilliant. Saw them in Vegas at Life is Beautiful. Great performers.

I'm writing this review because I'm getting a little antsy over here waiting for the next Passion Pit album/Micheal Angelakos solo album. Anyway that you look at it, Micheal Angelakos is a musical genius. What the man can do with sound is unlike anything I've ever heard, and Manners is the best PP album hands down. The smashing synth mixed with perfectly pitched vocals is enough to cause any person to reject all other musical sound for weeks at a time. Every single song is good, there's nothing anyone could do to improve any of them. Irish folk songs? Check! Dance? check! Choruses? Check! Beautiful and insightful piano? Check! Artists always put out their best music in their debut albums but Angelakos out does himself and out plays everyone else on the field. I remember the first time I heard PP on the radio in my hometown after the Gossamer release and just feeling so excited despite my qualms with 'Take a Walk'. When I listen to PP I really feel like I'm a part of something bigger than myself and that's something that no one but The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Weezer, and some musicals can do for me. This is Pop Music that John Lennon would be proud of, and that's saying a lot. This man was born to make music and my friends and I will be his fans until the bitter end. Do you like The Cure? The Gorillaz? Beck? RHCP? Supertramp? Shakira? Jane's Addiction? Big Boi? The Killers? MGMT? Boys like Girls? Sublime? John Lennon? Coldplay? Belle and Sebastian? Then you're going to LOVE this album. I'm going to end this by saying that anyone who doesn't prefer this album over all of the other noise out there has horrid taste and doesn't know anything about music.
