Hailing from Germany (I believe), JoJo Effect is easily putting out some of the strongest lounge material out there - period. Every major producer has listened to and loved the exquisite & haunting voices of singers Anne Schnell and Brenda Boykin deliciously flavored with bossa and jazz, and hence you will hear their trademark sounds on a wide variety of compilations today.
This is state of the art lounge..smart and sexy... and this album (Ordinary Madness)supasses all expectations. Dim the lights and let JoJo Effect create the mood. My favorite song is easily "Desire," a beautifully layered materpiece. Anyone who loves the sounds of Claude Challe, Hotel Costes series, or Cafe Del Mar will be delighted at the magic that JoJo Effect are creating. Top drawer, not a bad song on this disc...
