One of the very best I've heard in a long time. The variety of genres, the quality of the productions and (of course) the unbelievable voice -- if you love music you will love this album. Totally first class, all the way.

I dont know why I am just finding this jewel. What a great collection of songs. Wynonna has one of the most emotional, beautiful voices. This deserves a listen by any music lover.

One of the things I appreciate about this album is Wynonna's willingness to do things a little differently. She could have stayed with one particular time period, type of music, even pace of music. But she didn't. Now I am not, nor have I ever been, a fan of "country music", but with this particular album it really doesn't matter. Wynonna manages to remove herself from musical categories. And her style/talent dictate that you NEVER compare her to ANYONE else. Because no one compares to Wynonna Judd.
  • Truly infallible

This album is musically exquisite and has no apparent flaws. One of the few albums out there that one can listen to without skipping a song.

I was kind of disappointed that this CD was full of cover songs, but set that feeling aside to give it a fair shake. I really like "That's How Rhythm Was Born", "Women Be Wise", "I Hear You Knocking", "The House is Rockin'", and "Ain't No Sunshine". The rest of the songs really don't do anything for me at all. Sure, Wynonna's voice is top-notch as always, but just not all that thrilled about the song selections. Love ya, Wy, will always be a fan and love a few songs on this release, but just not cup of tea. See ya next time!

This album is filled w/ great songs, great vocals, grand instumentals, and true artistry. Not to say that the instrumentals on past albums are less, but I felt a true ochestral accompaniment on this album. Of course Wynonna's vocals are spot on power diva! =) Rock on WY!!!
  • I forgot how good she is!

This album like all her others, shows just how versatile this woman is! For people who consider her a "country" artist, they need to listen to this album. The very first song gets you tapping your feet, yet her mellow songs put you in a very relaxing mode. It may not be for everyone, but true Wynonna fans will definitely appreciate this album. Thanks for the years of pleasure, Wy! Candy in CA

Wynonna is amazing no matter what she sings, I would like to give her 5 stars but i really think she should stick to ballads, and blues, I cant take it when she starts to rock out!
