Man… when this came out in 1990, I bought it, not knowing much of The Cure except what was on MTV at the time. I must have been 15 or 16. I remember listening to A Forest (Tree mix) for the first time and there was a big snow storm going on outside. I remember looking out the window watching these big huge super wet chunks of snow falling down outside my window as I listened. Just the most melancholy and beautiful experience ever. I love this album. I am taken back to those days overtime I listen to this.

hey I bought the album but the only problem is the song fascination street, I can't reproduce it only lasts until 32 seconds and when I try to play it to see if works it happens again, what should I do? thank you

I listened to this album on a long road trip when I was 15 years old, or about 20 years ago. It was a horrible trip - I was forced to sit in the back of a small hatchback and was driven by two people who didn't want me to tagalong. But they played this album over and over, and I feel in love with it. Despite the bad memory, I still listen to this album regularly and am as much in love with it now as I was then. Favorites are Close to Me and Pictures of You. In my Top 5 Albums for sure.
