Before you go bashing a band you "assume" you know and/or like, educate yourself about them...singing in "Reach" is Marco...the bassist for Nightwish...and bassist/lead singer for Tarot...check them out! That version is awesome! As is the whole album...and every album this bad has put out thus far! Keep rocking Nightwish!!!

It's okay, just not my style. I like the creepy feeling to these songs, like a horrifying lullaby, sung by angels. The lead singer isn't bad, but I never have liked vibrato such as this. Her vibrato just comes on too often for me. I'm more into heavy metal, so who am I to judge, but I still find great emotion and potential in their hybrid style of music.

Annette isn't that bad, but it ruins the atmosphere that nightwish usually gives off. Ruins nightwish in my opinion actually. but shes not a bad singer. I still prefer tarja

I love Nightwish alot and what weighs me down about it is the stupid war against Tarja and Annette. Just stop it and enjoy what you get. She going back. I like them both.

Not bad, considering I prefer the sound with Tarja. Annette is a great replacement, in my opinion. Still prefer Tarja though... oh, well, changes had to be made, and this isn't nearly as bad as I assumed it would be.

I'll admit it's strange not to hear the boy Soprano nor Anette on The Poet and the Pendulum, but sometimes depending on my mood, I will listen to this version for its raw unpolished sound. I believe it's Tuomas doing her part (I could be wrong though) and if so he really needs to sing more on the cds.

While I continue to love NIghtwish's work before Tarja left the band, I was blown away by DDP and Annette's contribution to their new sound. It's not the same Nightwish, but I believe it was an amazing transformation. Keep up the awesome work!

i dont see why people hate anette so much! sure shes not as good as tarja but she still is good for nightwish! and besides dont u want the band to get along with each other? they fired tarja because she was being a diva and she was being really rude!

Annette (sp?) isn't a bad singer but she makes Nightwish sound very pop and if that's what they're going for now that's great but if they want to keep up the image they have then they'll need a different singer. If they want to go pop though then they should probably change their lyrics to suit that genre of music. Because I haven't bought the whole album I'll give it a three to be fair.

I love this album i just got into hardcore european music though i am dissapointed i was looking for a band called pain to purchase one of there amazing! songs and it said "sorry not available in u.s store" though my brother is getting me an itunes gift card in germany so i can get the song im still pretty angry they dont have all the same songs in each store anyways it is an amazing amzing album i dont know why they didnt put escapist in a real album cause it is one of my favorite songs
