How could I not know? I have all these songs by Ms. Franklin on vinyl, cassette, cd, and in digital files, but did not know this album exists until 2011. These are very good to great recordings. I especially appreciate Ms. Franklin's best recordings of "Today I Sing the Blues", and "Night Life" are included, rather than lesser quality versions. The inclusion of her rendition of "Ain't No Way" would have made this album perfect. Thank you, iTunes, Rhino, Warner, Atlantic, and, most of all, ..... thank you, Ms. Aretha Franklin.

Having belted out all the greatest hits and collected various albums on vinyl I have to admit, as a young person who found the Queen after her time, this is where I find my juiciest tracks now. "Today I Sing the Blues", "Going Down Slow" and "Dr Feelgood" are my current AF faves. If you love the deep richness which is her voice and supreme delivery, don't miss these selections.
