After you listen to Foreverly by Billy Joe Armstrong and Norah Jones, listen to the original by the best duo in the history of country & pop music. Both albums are terrific.

The resurgence of "Ol' timey" music, see "O' Brother Where art Thou", bluegrass, and various other groups and styles makes this album by the Everly Brothers waayyy ahead of its time. Pre-dating even the folk era, these songs from the hills sung by a group that was rock n' roll based served as a homage to their fathers music. These boys never lost their roots
An intriguing collection of songs...

I would have given this album a five star rating, but it is a little slow in its nature. Coming from the bang that was their first album, the Everlys took a unique turn for their second by doing a collection of old folk and country standards from their daddy's heyday. At least iTunes has finally dropped the clean rating from these albums. Now if only you did not have to by them song by song.
