Pure classic. Original, one-of-a-kind master of the dancehall stylee. RIP Tenor Saw.

Tenor Saw is one of the few dancehall artists that can be enjoyed by most music lovers, not just fans of the dancehall genre. Mostly because his voice is so beautiful and the "riddims" or tracks he sings over are good for dancing or just relaxing to. You can hear his influence in many bands, specifically Sublime, whose lead singer, Brad Nowell, had a similar singing style and would occasionally throw in lines sung by Tenor Saw and other early dancehall artists, like Ini Kamoze and more. This would be most clear on the amazing track, Roll Call, on this album.

Too short career (and life!) for TS for sure. This is a requirement for all reggae fans. No exceptions ! All the hits are here and more. Haven't heard a voice like him since. 'Lots of Sign' and 'Who is Gonna Help Me Praise' are legendary!
