I read several reviews and enjoyed the releases of I Love You and Portrait of Love, unfortunately those two songs are really the only ones worth buying. I listened to this album 3 times straight and was simply bored. Nothing really stood out and everything simply blended together. Although Cheri has some talent, it does not come through in this album. It's not worth the money, don't bother.

This is what R&B should be. ..it is an amazing album full of surprises. . .It took me a while to warm up to it, too. But honestly, it is a very well put together album. I wish Cheri the best, and she's got everything going for her. . . .People, you really have to get this album. . .it's one of those that can't be appreciated without listening to the full thing. . .It's like an early 00's album, and it would of blown up if it came out in 2003, but now that it is here, give her the support. . .

Cheri Dennis has been on the music radar for about 5 years and it is refreshing to hear that the long wait has produced such impressive results. 'In and Out of Love' is pure and an easy listen; there is not one track that I breezed through as I listened to the entire disc. It is unfortunate that the public will not be able to fully appreciate the album due to the long wait, the label she is on, and a lack of publicity about its release. Her songs are heartfelt and the production coupled with her voice add to the sensuality, seriousness, and sexiness of each song's intention. Actually, this is one of the best albums that I've heard in quite some time. I am proud of her and it appears that 'I Love You' is not the only hit on this disc. Listen to 'Portrait of Love,' 'Pretend,' 'Showdown,' and 'Waiting.'
