While I’m happy to see that Disney continues to release the music from its parks and nighttime spectaculars, this album is sadly not a faithful release of the soundtrack for Luminous. The narration is included in the opening and ending tracks from the show, but removed from the rest of the show. The opening drums and striking vocal introduction have been completely removed. Heartbeat Symphony is a completely different mix from the one used in the show- here the driving drum beats have been eliminated in favor of a more pop style. I’d hoped this album would be another great collector’s item and park memento, but unfortunately is a disappointing release lacking many essential elements from the show.

The show with the post show tracks is amazing! Just wish we had the full show audio with the preshow drum circle and the drums found in Heartbeat Symphony. However, that does not distract from the incredible work of the composers, singers, and ensembles.

Pun intedned, this beautiful score is easily worth the $10 when you can’t listen to the full soundtrack on streaming. What a beautiful orchestration that will make you tear up everytime! Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this soundtrack and show to life! GET TO EPCOT TO SEE IT!

Disney…this is a mess. Sometimes it has the narrations, other times it doesn’t. The drums are missing from the opening. The tracks don’t flow into one another like the full show, they come to a full stop with seconds of no sound. “Luminous Family” and “Luminous Romance” tracks serve no purpose as during the actual show they have the narration, but other spots that would have narration are just skipped. Please fix this and re-release.
